The role also involves voice support, including handling inbound or outbound calls with employees or stakeholders.

 

By being part of our teams, you will work from Monday to Friday09:00-18:00, from our office in Bucharest, in a hybrid setup.

 

How you’ll make an impact:

 

Manage and co-ordinates activities for BENELUX:

  • Actively participates in the monthly SOP process, ensuring accountability and alignment of the financial metrics.

  • Carry out the month-end closing, including sales rebate reconciliation, and lead the monthly planning cycle while providing analysis of general ledgers for management review.

  • Support Commercial Finance Manager in the preparation of budgets, plans and forecasts, providing accurate and timely information for ongoing performance monitoring.

  • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of Marketing programs and touchpoints, enabling better decision-making and resource allocation.

  • Analyse and provide recommendation on product and brand profitability.

  • Collaborate closely with Trade Marketing Team to optimize Trade Margins.

  • Evaluate investments in key Marketing initiatives and Trade activities, such as promotions.

  • Engage in business partnering with Marketing team, covering financial controls, profit delivery, budgeting, marketing plan, operating expenses and capex.

  • Carry out the pricing reporting and analysis for the market.

  • Perform comprehensive financial evaluations and business cases, including scenario analysis and post implementation reviews.

  • Assist Commercial Finance Manager in the review and assessment competitors’ marketing activities, financials, and market share to inform strategic decisions.

  • Support Commercial Finance Manager in simplification and process improvement initiatives across marketing finance and accounting activities to ensure clear and transparent reporting.

  • Implement practical procedures to enhance controls and governances’ standards.

  • Enhance the financial and commercial awareness within the Marketing area, educating the organization on commercial and financial skills.

  • Cultivate effective working relationships with various stakeholders across the wider business.

  • Engage in planning and reviewing key initiatives to align with the Marketing strategy as an active member of the Marketing team.

  • Drive ad-hoc projects as needed

Skills that make your work successful:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and strong understanding of the accounting process and practice in BAT / GBS

  • Full Financial Statements understanding

  • Good Business/ Commercial understanding and curiosity

  • Good technical skills and solid knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically SAP, or ERP equivalent, BPC/BI and excellent excel skills, with hands on experience on PPT.

  • Knowledgeable in identifying risks and in implementing controls with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesise, communicate, and present complex situations.

  • Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, proactive, collaborative, and consultative.

  • Attention to details, diligent and resilient, and quick adaptability to changing environment.

  • Influencing and good interpersonal skills, good stakeholder engagement and management skills.
