Purpose of the role
To make independent and concise assessment of Credit Applications and Borrower Rating Applications proposed by the front office. Carry out the necessary covenant compliance checks in order to mitigate credit risk to the Bank.
Job Responsibilities:
To provide independent assessment of the credit proposals/rating applications put up by front office for the facilities booked in Singapore branch
To prepare any materials that may be required for FSA, BOJ, MAS or other inspections
To perform the making/checking of spreadsheets of assigned customers as well as new customers
To be alert to the economic and business environment that might lead to any credit issues arising for the accounts assigned
Collaborate with stakeholders to support the credit review and monitoring process for safety and soundness of the Bank’s portfolio
Job Requirements:
Degree in Banking and Finance / Business / Accountancy or Economics preferred, though not a prerequisite
No experience required / relevant experience will be an advantage
Microsoft Office Skills (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)
Other required skills include good written English, strong analytical and excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
