Responsibilities

Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow.  Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures.  Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through the appropriate utilization and management of all clerical functions within the department document handling and disposition, interpersonal relationships and information gathering and dispersion.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.  Completion of Echocardiogram program or equivalent training required.

2.  Effective July 1, 2017 ARDMS or CCI required.

3.  Current BCLS (ARC or AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

4.  Able to assist physician with TEE testing.

5.  Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages preferred

6.  Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred.  

7.  Proficient computer skills.

8.  Training on Violence in the Workplace prevention within 90 days from date of hire.

Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $33.72 to $41.59. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
