Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Operations Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Director, Process Engineering, this role is Responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and managing an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

What a typical day looks like:

• Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels. 

• Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI. 

• Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints. 

• Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence. 

• Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices. 

• Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to. 

• Report to Senior Management team in weekly operations reviews. 

• Coach and mentor Operations team.  

• Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes. 

• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce. 

Experience we’re looking to add to our team

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.

• Fluent English

• Operations experience, including supervision

• Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills. Demonstrates expertise in multiple areas and industry. Demonstrates proficient knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business. Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
