About the role of the Quality Engineer IV

Are you interested in defining and driving quality? Do you enjoy taking the lead on projects and mentoring less experienced engineers? Then, the Quality Engineer IV (QE IV) in Premera’s IT Engineering department may be the role for you.  The QE IV will have a critical role in filling a gap in Premera’s Quality Engineering capability by introducing dedicated healthcare domain expertise to define end-to-end testing requirements across all programs and production operations. The QE IV will be accountable for defining what must be validated from a member, provider, and claims perspective, ensuring that testing reflects real-world healthcare workflows and regulatory requirements.
In this position, the QE IV will help lead a partnership with product, engineering, and testing teams to map end-to-end customer journeys, translate business processes into comprehensive test scenarios, and identify critical edge cases, data dependencies, and compliance considerations.
