Project Role : Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of comprehensive solutions. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines, focusing on enhancing the overall quality throughout the application lifecycle. Your work includes continuous testing efforts that cover security aspects, application programming interfaces, and regression scenarios. You develop and implement automation strategies and scripts, while also managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively participate in code reviews, track and report defects, and contribute to ongoing improvements in the testing processes to support the delivery of reliable software products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance testing methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire ClaimCenter QA.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Strong understanding of testing frameworks and tools relevant to full stack application environments.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot defects, with a focus on root cause analysis and resolution.
- Familiarity with environment setup and data configuration to facilitate accurate and reliable testing.
- Experience in participating in code reviews and collaborating with development teams to enhance software quality.

- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter QA.
- This position is based at our BDC11 - SEZ location.
