Description
Leidos is looking to hire a NetOps Specialist Junior in Camp Butler, Japan to join our SMIT program. The NetOps Specialist Junior will monitor the infrastructure and network by responding appropriately to alerts and events.
The Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) is the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under SMIT the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN), including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. To continually modernize these networks, the Navy and Marine Corps will award project Task Orders onto the SMIT contract.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Respond to incidents from triage through resolution, including escalations, where appropriate.
Respond to infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to maintain operational effectiveness for services.
Provide root cause analysis documentation in accordance with Government procedures.
Provide data center support where appropriate.
Document daily shift activities in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure proper pass down of any outstanding issues.
Provide incident notification to Government representatives.
Basic Qualifications:
High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and a minimum of 2 year of relevant experience
US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance
Must possess a Security+ and a CCNA certification

Pay Range:
Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
