We are seeking a talented individual to join our Placements team at Marsh Risk India, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Bengaluru This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office
Assistant Vice President – Placements
We will count on you to:
Product Knowledge
- Complete understanding of product offerings.
- Proficiency on claims advocacy and servicing.
- Well versed with different insurers, their strength and weakness.
Research oriented
- Capable of data mining and identifying business opportunities.
- Carry out in-depth gap analysis for large proposals to meet the needs of various clients, while still maintaining company profitability.
- Prepare Quotes Comparison Reports (QCR) along with useful insight for the client in a timely manner.
Policy Servicing
- Take confirmation on the final terms, premium amount, brokerage and sum insured with the insurer.
- Scrutinize the policy document shared by the insurer, and share observations with them in case there are deviations.
- Share the final policy document with the Sales team/CE.
- To ensure the completion of invoicing in Marshcore within the stipulated timeline.
Team Management
- Regular feed -back on the team’s performance and progress of team members.
- Strategize on new proposals with the sales team and respective team leaders for closure of new business and large proposals.
- Ensure resolution to the escalations from Client executives with respect to claim related or policy/endorsements related queries.
- Any changes in process or product related information received from insurers to be cascaded among team members as well as client executives.
Key Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at the insurance companies to ensure competitive quotes are received in a timely manner.
- Visit insurance companies regularly to ensure continuous engagement with different stakeholder.
Audit, MIS & Reporting
- Enter RFQs and proposal details (eg. client name, policy details, dates of activities involved etc.) into the database.
- Generate reports for analysis (eg. TAT adherence reports, Hit Ratio Analysis etc)
- Share status updates with the Head – QMS.
- To share information and documentation with auditors
What you need to have:
- 5-8 years of experience in insurance industry.
- Corporate Relationship Management / Business Solution Provider from a service background.
- Ability to manage diverse client cultures i.e. Indian Corporate, MNC Corporation and PSU clients.
- Required Domain knowledge
- MBA from a reputed B - School
