About the Role
Applied Materials is establishing a new advanced technology development and prototyping facility in Delft. We are looking for a Logistics & Materials Coordinator to manage inventory, shipments, material flow, and supplier logistics for the site.
This is a hands-on role where you will help ensure engineers and technicians have the materials, tools, and equipment they need while supporting the development of scalable logistics and inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities
Materials & Inventory
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries.
- Maintain inventory of consumables, spare parts, tools, and project materials.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
- Maintain organized storage and material traceability.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records in SAP and related systems.
Logistics & Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
- Prepare shipping, customs, and export documentation.
- Track deliveries and resolve shipment issues.
- Serve as the primary logistics contact for suppliers, carriers, and service providers.
- Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and lead times.
Operational Support
- Support purchasing, material planning, and asset tracking activities.
- Maintain records of equipment, tools, and site assets.
- Help ensure materials are available to support engineering and laboratory operations.
- Contribute to the development of efficient logistics and inventory processes as the site grows.
Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, materials management, operations, or a related field.
- Experience in a high-tech manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, or R&D environment.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with inventory management and purchasing processes.
- Understanding of international shipping, import/export, and customs requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Salary Range:
€48.000,00 - €66.000,00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
