Description
Join Parks and Recreation as a seasonal Warming House Attendant this winter! As a Warming House Attendant, you'll be responsible for creating a safe and enjoyable environment for visitors to our skating rinks. Your duties will include everything from ensuring safety guidelines are followed to keeping the space clean and tidy.

What's in it for you?
- Flexible shifts: Work between 10 and 20 hours per week.
- Shifts to include hours on weekdays from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and shifts on weekends between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
- Weekends are required.
- Schedules that work around you: shifts are available from mid-December to late February, pending weather, including winter break, weekends, non-school days and after-school hours!

First review of applications will begin on October 1, 2026. This position is open until filled.
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate behavior and safety guidelines are followed by participants in warming house and skating area.
- Opening and closing duties daily.
- Participant counts taken hourly.
- Cleaning duties as assigned.
- Assist maintenance staff with rink maintenance and other duties as deemed necessary.
- Report to Warming House Supervisor and/or Recreation Coordinator for information regarding the occurrence of accidents, disruptive behavior and any maintenance problems.
- Carry out instructions given by Supervisor promptly and accurately.
- Submit reports as requested.
- Must be 15+ years of age or older.
- Must have qualities showing maturity of judgment.
- Must have ability to work, supervise and get along with various age groups.
- Must be knowledgeable of procedures to take in the event of an emergency situation.
- Must have transportation to and from job site.
- Must be reliable and committed for the full duration of the season (mid December - end of February).
