What You’ll Do
- Support production operations across drying, freezing, wet and dry processing, sifting, grinding, boxing, re-boxing, and packaging processes.
- Safely start, operate, monitor, and make minor equipment adjustments while following all safety procedures and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) requirements.
- Perform equipment setup, material handling, cleaning, sanitation, and production support activities to maintain efficient operations.
- Complete Critical Control Point (CCP) checks, follow GMPs and SOPs, and promptly report quality or food safety concerns.
- Train and support team members, lead pre-shift meetings and safety stretches, and promote accountability for safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Help achieve production goals by preparing for shift transitions, maintaining accurate records, supporting cross-functional collaboration, and working overtime as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- At least one year of production experience or an equivalent combination of related experience, education, and training.
- Basic reading, writing, and computer skills, including the ability to use ERP systems, scanners, or desktop applications when required.
- Experience creating shift reports, maintaining production documentation, and communicating basic performance data.
- Strong math skills with the ability to accurately count inventory, report weights, and perform basic calculations.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and maintain high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
- Previous forklift experience is a plus, and forklift certification may be required with training provided as needed.
