The Boeing CompanyThe B-52J Development Program is looking for a Senior Maintenance Support Analyst to join our team and make an immediate impact on our programs in Oklahoma City.
This is a high visibility role with technical assignments that directly support the Program’s top-level goals, initiatives, and challenges. The Maintenance Support Analyst provides support and guidance to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and USAF customers. You will coordinate maintenance operations for product development, modification, lab, ground, and flight test. You will work with USAF customers and management to obtain approval, identify and manage maintenance tasks.
You will have responsibility to coordinate with SEIT, Crew Systems, Human Engineering, System Safety, Reliability and Maintainability, Technical Publications, and Product Support teams. Support development and/or changes to maintenance actions, procedures, and technical data. You provide technical solutions to complex problems to senior leadership for the development and execution of Commercial Engine Replacement Program. You will have opportunities to lead and collaborate with people from all over the world, to create and deliver innovative solutions to complex technical problems.
Position Responsibilities:
- Be the Senior Maintenance Support Analyst supporting the B-52 development programs: the Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP).
- Works as part of an integrated team alongside System Engineering, Propulsion, Modification, Test, Human Engineering, Product Support, System Safety, and Reliability and Maintainability, and other key organizations.
- Responsible for assisting in the development of maintenance action, procedures, fault codes, and technical data.
- Provide onsite support at the aircraft mod location in San Antonio, TX.
- Responsible for identifying and tracking risk, issues, and opportunities to closure and coordinating with the various internal and external organizations and the customer.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree higher in a Maintenance, Aviation, Aviation Safety or Aeronautics related fields.
- 20+ years of experience maintaining and supporting USAF Bombers
- 15+ years of experience performing maintenance, maintenance supervision, and logistical support to the B-52 fleet.
- 10+ years of experience with B-52 system troubleshooting.
- 10+ years of experience performing the following: aircraft weight and balance, towing, jacking, gear swings, fueling, defueling, and/or exceptional release.
- 5+ years of experience with Bomber Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) modifications, upgrades, and TCTO compliance.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with Work Unit Code, ATA and SNS Structure
- Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance, MSG-3, and Conditioned Based Maintenance Plus principles.
- Experience working across a team representing multiple skill areas with internal and external resources and customers is preferred
- Experience with complex systems development and integration preferred
- Experience with leading project execution to complete the work statement is preferred
- Good communication skills and a self-starter that takes initiatives without supervision
- Adaptable and able to operate in a dynamic environment to meet objectives on time
- Experience with of the FAA certification process
- Certification and/or experience working with Mil-Hdbk-516
- Project Management exposure / experience (e.g., Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI/PMI 99-001-2008)
- Ability to quickly analyze, understand, organize and communicate complex technical concepts/problems across multiple disciplines
