Receptionist Administrator
Location: Bupa Clinic, Ringwood (BH24 1EX)
Hours: Part-Time, 16 hours per week
Working Pattern: Thursdays and Fridays, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Contract: Permanent
Benefits: Competitive salary and fantastic benefits package
Salary: £27,900 PRO RATA

This role is essential for the smooth operation of our Clinic and is crucial in providing outstanding customer service. You will be a key support network, ensuring that every interaction with our customers, both adults and children, is special and memorable. Your commitment to excellent service will help create positive experiences for everyone who visits us.
We're looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Administrator/Receptionist to join our team at Bupa Clinic Ringwood.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a vital role in creating a warm and professional experience for every person who visits or contacts our clinic. Whether you're greeting customers, managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, or supporting our clinical teams, you'll help ensure the smooth running of the centre while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

You’ll help us make health happen by:
- Welcome and support customers throughout their visit, ensuring they receive an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Book, amend, and manage appointments using our clinical systems.
- Process payments, invoices, and related administrative tasks accurately.
- Prepare customer documentation and support the management of medical records and test results.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming reception environment.
- Support clinicians and colleagues to ensure reports and customer information are processed within agreed timescales.
- Assist with stock control, ordering supplies, and general office administration.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and support colleagues across the wider Bupa network when required.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and other digital systems.
- The ability to prioritise workload and remain calm in a busy environment.
- A proactive, positive, and reliable approach to work.
- GCSEs (or equivalent).
Desirable:
- Audio typing skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience within a healthcare setting.
