What this job involves:

• Operate, monitor, and perform routine maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and building management systems (e.g., UPS, generators, chillers, CRAC units)
• Execute scheduled and unscheduled work orders, ensuring adherence to safety and change management protocols (e.g., MOPs, EOPs, SOPs)
• Assist in maintaining accurate technical records, asset inventories, and system documentation
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and post-event reporting
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams during installations, repairs, or upgrades
• Contribute to audit readiness by ensuring logs, certifications, and compliance paperwork are complete and up to date
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reliability

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field
• REW A/ B License is a must
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in data centres, mission-critical facilities, or industrial environments
• Strong understanding of critical power and cooling architectures (N+1, 2N, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment
• Strong sense of responsibility, safety awareness, and ability to work independently in a high-availability environment
