  • Base salary $117,133 - $127,610 (HEO7) + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

The Pipeline and Pre Award team in DVC Research are on the hunt for another Proposal Assurance & Submission Officer to join their squad!

In this role, you will manage the proposal submission administrative services and offer operational support for the Pre-Award team. You will be leading support for funding proposals and submissions for allocated schemes and providing guidance and escalation support to Proposal Assurance & Submission Administrators.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • work in the Pipeline and Pre-Award team, reporting to the Manager, Proposal Assurance & Submissions

  • lead the administration submission requirements for allocated schemes by ensuring funding proposal and submission are compliant and meet quality assurance expectations

  • maintain an accurate and systematic database of funding proposals and submissions

  • understand the complexities of the submissions environment and provide insights, guidance, and regular reporting to the Pipeline and Pre-Awards Teams

  • comply with funding rules and regulatory requirements

  • contribute to the Research Support Community of Practice through trusted stakeholder management.

About you

  • administrative experience in a complex and fast-paced environment

  • excellent negotiating, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills

  • sound judgement, initiative, and discretion with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently

  • high-level attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • excellent computer skills including Microsoft office, databases, excel programs and web-based software

  • interest in, or experience working in, a research-intensive higher education environment.
