Overview

The Regional Digital Marketing Manager plays a key role in driving digital demand and revenue for the Highgate Hawaii regional portfolio, supporting property ecommerce channels, website performance, and digital strategy. This role supports the day-to-day execution of revenue generation through the analysis, auditing and refinement of SEO/GEO, SEM, paid media, email/CRM, website and digital initiatives, working closely with the portfolio’s Regional Marketing Managers to ensure digital strategy and overall digital health is upheld and optimized across channels. The Regional Digital Marketing Manager monitors and supports channel performance and analytics, optimizes the guest digital journey from discovery to booking, and partners with agencies, sales and revenue teams, and on-property stakeholders to translate data into actionable improvements. This role also supports broader digital marketing initiatives as needed and positively contributes to enhancing guest satisfaction and team culture.

Responsibilities

Fundamental Requirements:

 

Ecommerce & Website Management

  • Support the monitoring of day-to-day health, accuracy, and performance of property websites, booking engines, and public-facing digital platforms
  • Support regular updates of website content assets to reflect business objectives, seasonality, promotions, and key property selling points, while maintaining site health and digital strategy
  • Coordinate with CMS and web development vendors to implement site updates, fixes, and enhancements
  • Help identify new opportunities for digital revenue-drivers and optimization opportunities that enhance the customer journey

 

SEO/GEO & Paid Media

  • Help support the SEO/GEO strategy and execution across property websites and digital content
  • Assist in the auditing of paid digital advertising campaigns across search, display, and social channels
  • Liaise with partner agencies to support tracking deliverables and channel performance
  • Regularly review channel performance reporting and data analytics; supply actionable insights to the Regional Marketing Managers

 

Email & CRM

  • Support segmentation and performance tracking for email/CRM programs
  • Support e-marketing campaign performance and data analysis across property channels, reporting actionable insights to the Regional Marketing Managers

 

Reporting & Thought Leadership

  • Support monthly stakeholder reporting and assist in monitoring effective benchmarks for measuring KPIs/ROIs across ecommerce and digital channels
  • Monitor trends in ecommerce, digital and emerging channels, and share relevant insights with the marketing team

  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving programs as necessary
  • Must be able to cross-train in related areas
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs
  • Perform other duties as requested by management

Qualifications

Education & Experience: 

  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years' experience in Ecommerce and Digital Marketing (hospitality industry preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience managing front- and back-end website content, SEO/GEO, SEM, paid media, and email/CRM programs, including ROI / KPI metrics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, GA4 and E-commerce suite; working knowledge of CMS platforms and hospitality booking engines a plus
  • Working knowledge of SEO/GEO strategy, SEM tools, paid media platforms, email/CRM systems
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships across stakeholder groups (e.g. GMs, Sales and Revenue Leaders, Regional Team, Agency Partners)
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple property channels simultaneously
  • Knowledge of full-funnel digital marketing and channel disciplines
  • Ability to work efficiently, effectively and gracefully in a high-pressure & high-stress environment

For Employees Based in Colorado:

  • 8 paid holidays per year; employees working in the City of Denver receive 64 hours of designated holiday time per calendar year
  • Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service
  • 6 days or 48 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year, accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.

For Employees Based in California:

  • 8 paid holidays per year
  • Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service, capped at 1.5x annual accrual rate; non-supervisory employees working in the City of Los Angeles accrue up to 22 days of Compensated Time Off, based on length of service capped at 192 hours of combined PST and CTO.
  • Paid Sick Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, unused time is carried over from one anniversary year to the next up to a maximum of 80 hours; employees working in the City of Los Angeles are provided 40 hours of Paid Sick Time annually on their anniversary, unused time is not carried over from one anniversary year to the next.
