Description
SENIOR GROWTH MARKETING SPECIALIST
We don't need more marketing activity. We need more qualified conversations.
YOUR JOB: make our websites, search presence and paid campaigns generate real business.
THE MISSION
Build and run Great Pyramid Group's digital growth engine across recruitment, EoR, Immigration and HR Advisory with one clear outcome: more high quality inbound leads.
THIS IS NOT A POST AND PRAY MARKETING ROLE.
We already have someone handling social media and creative. You will own the part that turns search intent into enquiries: websites, SEO, SEM, Google Ads, landing pages, analytics and conversion.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
When someone searches for recruitment support, employer of record services, Malaysia immigration support or HR advisory we want Great Pyramid to be visible, credible and easy to contact. Then we want the numbers to prove it.
WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY OWN
- Own and continuously improve our websites: page structure, landing pages, conversion paths, forms, basic CMS updates and coordination with developers when deeper technical work is needed.
- Build and execute SEO strategies across our business lines technical, on page and off page with a focus on commercial search intent, not vanity traffic.
- Research keywords, competitors and search behaviour, then turn the findings into content and landing page opportunities that can generate leads.
- Plan, launch and optimise Google Ads / paid search campaigns when required. You should be comfortable with budgets, match types, negative keywords, bidding, conversion tracking, CPL and campaign hygiene.
- Implement and manage analytics and tracking using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager. We should know where every meaningful lead came from.
- Work with our Creative & Social Media Executive to turn ideas into strong digital assets without duplicating the social media role.
- Work closely with our Senior Business Development Consultant so marketing activity reflects what clients are actually asking for and supports real sales priorities.
- Create and maintain useful, authoritative content around recruitment, EoR, Employment Passes / Dependant Passes, immigration and HR matters independently or with input from internal subject matter experts.
- Improve conversion: test headlines, calls-to-action, forms, landing pages and user journeys. Traffic is useful only if the right people take action.
- Track performance weekly and tell us what is working, what is not, what you are changing and why
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT:
- A social media posting role.
- A role where agencies do all the thinking while you forward emails internally.
- A traffic is up, therefore everything is great role.
- A position for someone who needs months before they are comfortable touching campaigns, analytics or website content.
WE CARE MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU CAN DO THAN WHAT IS PRINTED ON YOUR CERTIFICATE.
A degree is not mandatory. Relevant experience, strong judgement, curiosity and a track record of improving digital performance are.
NON NEGOTIABLES
- Hands on experience: Around 3–5+ years in growth marketing, digital marketing, SEO, SEM, performance marketing or a closely related role. You must have personally executed the work not only managed vendors.
- SEO capability: Keyword research, content strategy, on-page SEO, technical SEO fundamentals, internal linking, competitor analysis and ranking improvement.
- Paid search capability: Practical Google Ads experience: campaign structure, keyword strategy, ad copy, bidding, negative keywords, conversion tracking and optimisation.
- Analytics mindset: Comfort with GA4, Search Console, Tag Manager and performance reporting. You should be able to move from data to action without hiding behind dashboards.
- Website confidence: Able to make or coordinate CMS changes, build / improve landing pages, troubleshoot basic issues and brief developers clearly.
- Commercial thinking: Understands that the goal is not impressions or clicks. The goal is qualified leads, sales conversations, pipeline and ultimately revenue.
- Communication: Strong written English and the ability to simplify complicated services into clear, useful, persuasive content.
- Bias for action: You should be comfortable auditing what exists in week one, prioritising quickly and improving it without waiting for perfect conditions.
THE ATTITUDE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- HUNGRY you want to build, improve and win rather than simply maintain.
- CURIOUS you test assumptions and learn fast.
- RESOURCEFUL when you do not know something, your first instinct is to figure it out.
- COMMERCIAL you care about lead quality and revenue impact, not just marketing output.
- ACCOUNTABLE you own the result, including when something underperforms.
- COLLABORATIVE you can work closely with business development, creative and subject-matter experts without creating silos.
- LOW EGO, HIGH STANDARDS willing to learn, challenge ideas respectfully and keep improving.
BONUS POINTS
- Experience in recruitment, HR services, EoR, Payroll, Immigration / Mobility, Corporate Services or another B2B professional services environment.
- Understands terms such as EoR, Employment Pass (EP), Dependant Pass (DP), contract staffing, executive search and HR advisory or can learn them quickly.
- Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush or similar SEO tools; Looker Studio; CRM attribution and conversion rate optimisation.
- Has built a content or search strategy for multiple service lines or markets.
- Can show before and after results: rankings, organic enquiries, CPL, conversion rate, pipeline or revenue.
THE LINE WE WANT CANDIDATES TO REMEMBER
Degree optional.
Portfolio, evidence and attitude matter more. Show us what you changed, what moved and what you learned.
