Principal Technician, CADD

GFT is seeking a Principal Technician, CADD to fill a position within our Transportation group in Toronto. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Toronto office.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

• Leads technical effort for large or complex projects.  
• Independently performs technical assistance & drafting for tasks for a wide variety of assignments. 
• Provides direction for management of specific design tasks, including Level-1 reviews. 
• Prepares reports & letters.  

What you will bring to our firm: 

• Diploma in Engineering Technology, or equivalent. 
• Minimum 12 years of experience in structural CAD design. 

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $76,500.00 - $111,600.00. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
