Job Description

The Molding Utility Operator will load, operate, and unload Die Trim and Case pack to produce rubber products consistent with product specifications, while maintaining production and quality standards and controlling waste. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  

Casepack: 

  • Program electronic scale to establish accurate weigh count per Casepack (according to stopper size).  

  • Inspect, close, label, and assign Casepack to the proper pallet.  

  • Maintain accurate lot history and quality assurance documentation. 

  • Maintains accurate production and lot history documentation through computer-based systems. 

  • Maintains a neat and orderly production environment. 

  • Continually monitors in-process quality, addressing issues as needed to prevent product holds.  

  • Perform and document all required Quality Control checks.  

  • Generates hold tickets as needed. 

  • Observes all safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements (QSR). 

  • Perform rework as required. 

  • Communicate with upstream manufacturing and technical associates to address and prevent quality issues. 

 

Die Trim: 

  • Load molded stopper pads onto Die Trim cavity belt.  

  • Trim stoppers and remove full totes.  

  • Maintain standard production, quality and waste. 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent experience 

  • Must be proficient with simple math. 

  • Ability to Multi-task 

 

Preferred Requirements: 

  • 6 – 12 months of manufacturing experience 

  • Must have the dexterity to use a hammer and dinker (hole punch) 

  • Must have the ability to use scissors 

  • Must be forklift qualifiable (electric pallet jack only) 

  • Computer Literacy
