Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Community Homes in San Clemente, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to site needs. Pay Rate: $23.69 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility operations personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify authorization as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and security-related issues observed during patrols to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
