A Day in the Life: ·
Review project budgets to ensure sufficient funding is available and support financial evaluations of project expenditures.
Conduct financial analyses, including return on investment (ROI) assessments for proposed and ongoing projects.
Support the planning, preparation, and consolidation of annual budgets. · Assist with monthly forecasting activities and variance reporting.
Track and monitor expenses related to capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
Prepare monthly financial reports and analyze variances against budget and forecast.
Investigate significant variances and provide supporting explanations and recommendations.
Support treasury activities, including commercial paper issuance, posting entries, and related administrative processes.
Assist with the preparation and reporting of monthly loan and lease activity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support business decision-making.
Perform ad hoc financial analyses and reporting as required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
Familiarity with project management concepts and disciplines.
Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends and variances.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Required: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate Business or Business-related University Program with co-op/internship.

Hourly Rate Range:
$21.00 - $24.00
Hourly Rate Estimate: This range represents the minimum and maximum hourly rates applicable to interns in this program or role. The hourly rate offered will fall within this range and is determined based on the intern’s academic progress (years completed in school).
