VIC the PICC ("VTP") is a specialized healthcare provider focused on vascular access consulting services to acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and home healthcare. We provide vascular access device insertion services, post access support services including declotting, line removal, port access and venous access troubleshooting. VTP also provides continuing education, precepting and other educational support to clinical team members and customers.

Job Description
Job Type: Full-Time Mobile
This is a PICC RN position - prior PICC experience required to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current, active license
- Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs)
- Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management, including care, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Experience placing PICCs, midlines, or other vascular access devices using ultrasound\
- Prior vascular access or PICC experience
- American Heart BLS Certification
- Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and meet scheduling requirements as indicated by job classification
- Must possess a smart phone
- Must LOVE vascular access
- Prior vascular access or PICC experience
Who We Are Looking For
We're seeking RNs with strong, recent PICC placement experience for full-time Vascular Access Nurse Consultant roles. PICC insertion experience is required.
As a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant, you'll work collaboratively with our customers' clinical teams to resolve venous access issues and support treatment objectives set by the treating physician. Depending on the referral, you may work inside or outside the hospital setting — giving you a unique opportunity to see different treatment protocols and patient challenges across care settings.
If you're looking for a change from 12-hour shifts on your feet or rushing between patients with no time for quality care, this role offers a different pace and focus.
What You'll Do
- Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance
- Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation
- Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices
- Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting
- Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs
Schedule
- Full-time: 36–48 hours/week across 3–4 shifts per week, including weekend and holiday rotation (specific days assigned based on business needs)
- Consultants travel to customer facilities as assigned; scheduling requirements vary by job classification
