Regional Class A Driver – Dedicated Account
We are hiring experienced Class A drivers for a dedicated regional account.
This position offers weekly home time, established regional routes, and consistent store-delivery freight throughout the Northeast.
This is a 100% driver-unload position. Freight is unloaded box-by-box at store locations using rollers, so this opportunity is best suited for drivers who are comfortable with a physically active delivery account.
HOME TIME & SCHEDULE
- Home weekly for a 34-hour reset
- Approximately 3 loads per week
- Around 900 miles per week on average
- Regional operation throughout the Northeast
- Night, weekend, and holiday driving may be required
- Weekend home time is not guaranteed
Routes may operate throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Rhode Island, and Maine.
COMPENSATION
Drivers typically earn approximately $1,600–$1,850 per week, depending on experience, assigned routes, miles, deliveries, and applicable additional pay. Top performers earn $2,500/week. All in pay is $1.89/per mile (CPM + accessorial pay)
Mileage pay is based on verified experience:
- Less than 1 year: $0.73 CPM
- 1–2 years: $0.74 CPM
- 2–3 years: $0.75 CPM
- 3+ years: $0.76 CPM
Additional compensation may include:
- $240 per fully unloaded trailer
- $75 per backhaul
- Additional compensation for qualifying New York City deliveries
- Sign-on bonus available
Actual earnings vary based on experience, miles, routes, unloads, backhauls, and other applicable compensation factors.
ABOUT THE FREIGHT
This account consists primarily of dedicated store deliveries.
Freight is 100% touch, with drivers unloading trailers box-by-box using rollers at customer locations. Occasional deliveries may involve different store locations within the dedicated network.
Drivers should be prepared for the physical nature of the position and comfortable interacting professionally with store personnel during deliveries.
ORIENTATION & TRAINING
New drivers receive account-specific training before beginning regular routes.
Training may include 1–3 days of ride-along instruction with an experienced account driver. Following orientation and required training, drivers may be dispatched directly into the account's operating area.
Drivers should be prepared to bring appropriate personal supplies for the initial orientation and training period.
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid Class A CDL
- Have qualifying recent tractor-trailer experience
- Be at least 21 years old
- Meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
- Be able to safely perform the physical duties of a driver-unload account
- Be available for nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Have access to an approved, secure location for tractor-trailer parking when taking home time
- Demonstrate professional communication and customer-service skills
