Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for executing a wide variety of processes to ensure that TruStage producers (individual employees and non-employees and entities authorized to sell TruStage products) are properly licensed, registered (if applicable) and appointed and for maintaining accurate, timely corporate records about TruStage producers. This position works under the supervision of a Compliance Operations Manager. Duties include creating, updating, and managing producer profiles to align with requirements for various role, entity, product, and jurisdictional requirements, quality assurance and continuous improvement, reporting, and stakeholder communication in support of TruStage’s business requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
List of general activities, duties and/or tasks typically performed within the job, understanding that the specific assignment could focus on some of the items more than others:

• Execute licensing and appointment processes accurately and timely; maintain all required information in appropriate systems and databases.
• Recognize and understand the licensing, registration and appointment requirements applicable for the various producer roles across TruStage.
• Create, update and modify producer profiles and related information according to business rules based on the producer’s role(s), affiliated entity or entities, product(s), and jurisdictional requirements.
• Appropriately escalate actual and potential compliance issues in the event licensing and appointment requirements are not met. 
• Create accurate documentation of licensing processes.
• Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders about the licensing and appointment processes and the status of individual producer licenses and appointments. 
• Understand TruStage’s enterprise business model, the associated licensing and appointment requirements for the different producer roles within TruStage.
• Use Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) and other technology applications and systems related to assigned processes.

Job Requirements:

List of general education, background and experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities typically required to effectively perform the responsibilities of the job. Also include any required licenses and/or designations.

• Associate’s degree or an equivalent trade-off of related professional work experience; course work in Insurance or Business-related field(s) is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to understand compliance requirements applicable to the insurance and securities industries as applicable to producer licensing, registration and appointment processes. 
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) and ability to learn to use technology applications and systems related to assigned processes. 
• Life and Health and/or Property and Casualty Insurance Licenses preferred.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

 

Base Salary Range:

$46,800.00 - $63,300.00
