Main Responsibilities
1. Regularly report day to day activity related to ship operations starting from cargo receiving activities on board.
2. Report if there are any problems when carrying out shipping operations.
3. Check various documents, such as delivery documents, invoices, also other documents related to shipping operations.
4. Optimize utilisation of resources and prepare ship position updates.
5. Update relevant stakeholders on daily task such as: ship activities, personnel, refinery and fleet changes.
6. Coordinate with vessel masters, port agents, terminals, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of vessel operations and timely communication.
7. Monitor vessel schedules, port activities, and operational progress to ensure compliance with agreed timelines and operational requirements.
8. Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports related to vessel movements, cargo operations, and port activities.
9. Support the implementation of company policies, safety standards, and applicable maritime regulations during vessel operations.
10. Assist in resolving operational issues by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and ensuring timely follow-up on corrective actions.
General Responsibilities
1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation, Nautical Science, Port and Shipping Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping operations, marine coordination, vessel operations, or a related maritime role.
3. Good understanding of vessel operations, port procedures, shipping documentation, and maritime regulations.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
5. Good communication, coordination, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities.
