Job Description

As a Security Officer Dispatch in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional supporting a government transportation location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and dispatch resources to support timely responses. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service will help maintain an orderly environment and help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a government transportation location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, and access-related systems; receive and document calls for service; and relay relevant information to designated personnel and responding agencies.
• Coordinate the dispatch of security-related personnel for incidents, service requests, and critical situations, maintaining calm, clear, and professional communication.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, reporting observed hazards, unusual activity, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
