Business Development Representative
Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join a team and support the expansion of our operations in the South/Southeast U.S. territory. If you are passionate about business development and have a background in the insurance industry, we encourage you to apply.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: Up to $85,000 annually
- Bonus Potential: Up to $5,000 per quarter

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agencies, and intermediary partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Promote the company’s surety solutions to increase market penetration and visibility.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Collaborate with leadership to provide pipeline updates, opportunity reporting, and market feedback.
- Achieve established production and growth objectives while maintaining high service and compliance standards.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Insurance industry experience is required.
- Business development, sales, marketing, or production background within insurance.
- Experience working through broker and agency distribution channels.
- Licensing: Active insurance license preferred/required.
- Skills:
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
