Job Description
Are you an experienced Group Risk Underwriting Administrator with a passion for accuracy, service excellence, and delivering quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment?We are looking for a Senior Administrator: GAP Underwriting to play a critical role in supporting our underwriting operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of underwriting cases, from screening and case creation through to communicating underwriting decisions and managing stakeholder queries. You will work closely with intermediaries, employers, members, medical service providers, and internal teams to ensure efficient case management and exceptional service delivery.

- Accurately and timeously :
- screens and creates underwriting cases
- send formal correspondence regarding underwriting decisions
- Responds to intermediaries, members and employers regarding underwriting queries in clear and comprehensive manner.
- Professionally communicates with medical and other service providers regarding requirements.
- Updates and maintain underwriting records on relevant systems (Chorus, Compass and GUS)

- Follows standardised processes and provides administrative support in line with normal business functioning
- Delivers on daily production standards and works within set time standards
- Adherance to service and quality standards

Qualifications and Experience
- Matric
- 1-3 years working experience in group risk claims and underwriting administration
- Experience in use of Chorus (AWD), Compass and EMS
- Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
