As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, design oversight, and engineering support to ensure the successful delivery of architectural solutions across complex and mission-critical projects, preferably within data center environments.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual looking to excel in a regional role based in Singapore. You will act as the primary architectural representative, working collaboratively with Clients, Consultants, Contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to support the development and delivery of newbuild Data Centers and critical infrastructure projects across the APAC region.

Job Description

Description:

  • Review and provide technical advice on architectural engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and development plans to ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and Client Representative for architectural engineering matters, working closely with internal teams, client representatives, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support and monitor design and construction progress, ensuring adherence to approved architectural designs, project specifications, applicable codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify potential design, coordination, and construction issues at an early stage and provide practical recommendations to mitigate risks, delays, and cost impacts.
  • Review and oversee compliance with local building regulations, planning requirements, environmental standards, and project-specific design criteria.
  • Review, comment on, and approve architectural documentation including drawings, reports, technical submissions, specifications, and design packages.
  • Provide technical leadership and engineering recommendations to support project decision-making and resolution of complex design challenges.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between multidisciplinary teams including CSA, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, EHS, Security, and external project stakeholders.
  • Support design review meetings and provide continual input to optimize design solutions, improve constructability, and enhance project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project objectives, quality standards, and client requirements.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes and procedures.
  • Escalate critical design and construction issues affecting project scope, cost, quality, or schedule and support timely resolution through coordination with all relevant parties.
  • Support technical reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for design optimization, value engineering, and improved project delivery.
  • Maintain records of design changes, issues, and decisions, and assist in evaluating their impact on project cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Ensure timely review, closure, and documentation of project deliverables and outstanding technical issues.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including revision control, document tracking, and final project records management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Building Design, or a related field.
  • Professional Architect registration, Chartered status, or equivalent professional accreditation preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in architectural design, design management, and project delivery for newbuild or infrastructure fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in architectural design and coordination software, including AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and related digital collaboration platforms.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, design coordination, building systems integration, and constructability reviews.
  • Familiarity with mission-critical facilities, data centers, or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize activities, manage multiple deliverables, and support projects within schedule constraints.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical review capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional project teams.

If you meet our requirements and are excited about working on critical infrastructure projects, please submit your resume, portfolio, and references. We look forward to hearing from you!
