UnspecifiedGeneral IT Operations & Support
- Perform health checks of servers and network devices on a pre-defined frequency.
- SLA Management: ensure that SLA targets are met for incidents handled during the shift, and that the proper escalation process is followed whenever there is a risk of missing an incident SLA.
- Maintain necessary documentation and records, ensuring they are updated on a scheduled frequency.
- Track scheduled maintenance activities and ensure their on-time completion.
- Track newly released patches and hotfixes from relevant application OEMs and implement them on site by following the proper change management procedure.
- Coordinate with network providers, ISPs, and other vendors in the event of service failures or unavailability impacting system performance.
- Monitor incident trends at the site, perform detailed analysis, and continuously identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor cybersecurity threats and implement the necessary preventive and corrective measures.
- Oversee daily IT operations and ensure high service levels are maintained for end users.
AODB, RMS & FIDS Administration
- Administer, configure, and optimize AODB (Airport Operational Database), RMS (Resource Management System), and FIDS (Flight Information Display System) to support seamless airport operations.
- Perform routine maintenance, patching, and system updates to ensure high availability and security.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage system backups and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Support system integrations between AODB, RMS, and FIDS with other airport IT systems (e.g., BHS, ATC, airline systems).
- Ensure data consistency and accuracy across all connected systems.
- Collaborate with airlines, airport authorities, and technology vendors to implement new solutions.
CUPPS (Common Use Passenger Processing System) Administration
- Administer, configure, and maintain the CUPPS environment across check-in counters, self-service kiosks, and boarding gates to ensure continuous availability of common-use passenger processing services.
- Monitor CUPPS servers, application services, and peripheral devices (e.g., boarding pass printers, bag tag printers, barcode/passport scanners) and respond promptly to faults or degraded performance.
- Manage airline resource allocation and user/workstation configuration profiles within CUPPS in coordination with airlines and handling agents.
- Coordinate with CUPPS software/hardware vendors and airline IT teams on patch deployment, version upgrades, and defect resolution, following proper change management procedures.
- Perform routine health checks, log reviews, and preventive maintenance on CUPPS servers and edge devices to minimize passenger-facing disruptions.
- Support CUPPS integration with DCS (Departure Control Systems), AODB, and other passenger-facing platforms to ensure consistent and accurate data flow.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CUPPS-related incidents within agreed SLAs, escalating to vendors or OEMs where required, and maintain accurate incident and change records.
- Assist with CUPPS disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including backup verification and failover testing.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Aviation IT support, or 8 years' experience in the IT industry.
- Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Applications or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Servers, Microsoft SQL Database, and Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ).
- Familiarity with airline/airport operations, terminology, and culture is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
- Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- CCNA/MCSA certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience with VM servers.
- Working knowledge of ITIL best practices, with a clear understanding of SLAs, severity levels, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Requests.
- Hands-on experience with AODB, RMS, and FIDS administration.
- Hands-on experience with CUPPS administration and troubleshooting is preferred.
