Job Summary
B&A is looking for a Workday FSCM Reporting Lead to join a contract in support of an important mission. This role will be the Reporting Lead for the Workday Financials and Supply Chain Management upgrade.
Responsibilities
- Leading the design, development, and deployment of Workday Financials and Supply Chain Management reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Gathering and documenting reporting and analytics requirements from functional teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining Workday custom reports (advanced, matrix, composite, trending, and search) and calculated fields.
- Developing and configuring dashboards, scorecards, and delivered analytics for finance, procurement, grants, and supply chain users.
- Mapping and rationalizing legacy reports to Workday and maintaining the report inventory and traceability.
- Validating report data accuracy against source systems and reconciling results with functional owners.
- Coordinating report and data source security with the Security Lead to ensure appropriate access.
- Optimizing report and dashboard performance and troubleshooting reporting defects.
- Supporting Prism Analytics and Worksheets data preparation and delivered financial and supply chain analytics, as applicable.
- Creating and maintaining report specifications, data definitions, and user procedures.
- Reviewing and confirming reporting deliverables comply with quality, timeline, and work effort standards.
- Supporting go-live and post-go-live reporting readiness, cutover validation, and hypercare.
- Escalating issues which affect delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence.
- Providing accurate and detailed weekly task reports.
Education and Experience
- More than 5 years of hands-on Workday Financials and Supply Chain Management reporting and analytics experience as a reporting lead or report developer.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience building Workday custom reports (advanced, matrix, composite, and trending), calculated fields, and dashboards.
- Experience with Workday report data sources, business objects, and report and data source security.
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics, Worksheets, and/or delivered financial and supply chain analytics.
- Experience with Workday Financials and Supply Chain Management upgrade and/or implementation reporting tasks and deliverables at higher education, public sector, or healthcare industry clients.
- Experience performing reporting work on upgrade and/or implementation projects in a multi-entity shared services transaction processing environment with employee populations of greater than 50,000.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office suite of products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, MS Project, and SharePoint and/or equivalent.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Workday Financials and Supply Chain Management transaction processing and enterprise performance management (EPM) data, business objects, and reporting concepts.
- Ability to keep data confidential.
- Strong data analysis, reconciliation, and problem solving skillsets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to create user and project reporting documentation and procedures, clearly and concisely.
- Strong meeting facilitation and interviewing skills.
- Ability to work well with individuals at all levels within and outside the organization.
- Extensive collaborating skills and ability to create high quality and timely deliverables.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced organization.
