We’re looking for an energised, commercially minded Business Banking Partner to join our high-performing Highbrook team. This is a varied, customer-facing role where you’ll build trusted relationships, uncover opportunities, and help business customers achieve their goals. As a Business Banking Partner, you’ll:
Own, manage, and grow a portfolio of business clients by understanding their needs and backing their ambitions.
Deliver against key financial, customer, and risk metrics.
Meet with new and existing clients, both in our offices and at their businesses.
Connect customers with practical BNZ solutions across transactional banking, lending, insights, and learning opportunities.
Build strong local connections and referral networks that help create new business opportunities.
Lead business development activities in your market and represent BNZ at key events.
Work with a talented, supportive team that is focused on delivering great outcomes for customers and each other.
What attributes will help you succeed?
We’re looking for a confident relationship builder with strong technical banking capability, sound commercial judgement, and the drive to grow a quality business portfolio. You’ll bring at least three years’ business banking experience and be confident identifying customer needs, structuring practical solutions, and supporting sustainable business growth.
A minimum of three years’ business banking experience, with strong technical knowledge across core banking products, credit fundamentals, and market trends.
A proven track record in financial services and delivering strong outcomes for business clients.
Strong relationship-building skills — you thrive on working with a wide range of people and helping them succeed.
The ability to manage complex relationships while being a true team player.
An established professional network (or the drive to build one quickly).
You’ll be motivated by customer success, energised by business development, and excited by the opportunity to use BNZ’s products, services, and insights to help businesses take their next step.
