Role Overview
The Finance Manager will manage the overall financial management functions within the company, providing accurate financial insights and supporting sound business decisions through strong financial analysis and controls. The role requires a hands-on finance professional with strong leadership potential who is ready to take on broader responsibilities and progress into a higher-level finance leadership role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields.
- CPA preferred; also open to non-CPAs with strong relevant experience.
- At least 8 years of relevant Finance experience, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Must have strong background within the manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
- With hands-on experience and in-depth background in overall finance management, including: Financial reporting and management accounting, Costing and budgeting, Financial planning and analysis, as well as Financial controls and investments.
- Proven ability to work closely with senior management and provide financial insights to support business decisions, including managing financial reporting and presentations.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with sound business acumen and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and willingness to take on increased responsibilities.
- Preferably with training or prior experience in an audit firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting and management accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant standards and requirements.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business performance and decision-making.
- Manage and review costing activities, providing insights on costs, margins, and overall financial performance.
- Conduct financial analysis and translate financial data into actionable business insights for senior management.
- Establish and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and processes to safeguard company resources and manage financial risks.
- Monitor and evaluate financial investments and provide analysis to support investment-related decisions.
- Partner with senior management and other business functions on financial planning, performance evaluation, and strategic business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and overall business efficiency.
- Lead and develop the Finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Take on broader finance responsibilities as needed and demonstrate readiness to progress into a higher-level leadership role.
