Our Project Managers establish clear and achievable objectives, develop effective plans, and coordinate people and resources to achieve desired outcomes while balancing competing priorities for quality, scope, schedule, cost, and value. This role applies project management skills, Lean principles, and hybrid delivery practices to lead approved enterprise projects, supporting continuous improvement, and evolving how the work is done across the organization.

As a PM at BCI, you will play an integral role in delivering solutions that improve health outcomes through facilitating access to quality healthcare and financial peace of mind.

This PM role is required to be on-site at the Meridian main campus, but has the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule that allows for time in the office each week with the option of remote working days.

Required Experience

  • At least 3 years (PM I) or 5 years (PM II) of project management or related experience leading cross-functional business and/or technology initiatives.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field of study, or equivalent work experience. (Two years of relevant work experience is equivalent to one year of college.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Health industry project management experience.

  • Experience leading large projects ($500K - $2M+).

  • Experience working in Agile, Lean, hybrid, or transitioning delivery environments.

  • Experience developing and managing project budgets and providing accurate and timely reporting to leadership.

  • Experience with digital solutions, portals, and technology implementations.

  • Experience supporting process improvement, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.

  • Experience building and maintaining delivery plans, schedules, dependencies, and work breakdowns using an enterprise work management platform such as Jira.

In This Role, We Will Ask You To

  • Gather requirements information from business partners and end users to evaluate objectives, goals, scope, and business needs to define project deliverables and desired outcomes.

  • Partner with business areas, technology teams, and key business partners to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Identify, engage, and communicate effectively with project partners.

  • Identify resource needs and work with leaders to align resources so project plans can be completed within defined timeframes and objectives.

  • Coordinate resources on assigned projects and help ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, priorities, and commitments.

  • Develop and implement communication and reporting mechanisms to manage issues, risks, dependencies, and the timely delivery of results.

  • Translate project goals and objectives into a defined future state, measurable outcomes, and project success criteria that can be understood by business partners and project teams.

  • Align to Key Performance Indicators.

  • Ensure business needs and objectives are effectively captured in functional and non-functional requirements for systems and/or process workflows.

  • Oversee requirements through solution delivery, testing, and implementation to ensure expected business outcomes are achieved.

  • Manage project quality through activities such as conducting reviews, obtaining approvals, and facilitating corrective actions when necessary.

  • Encourage collaboration, transparency, continuous improvement, and effective delivery practices across project teams.

  • Articulate and promote project management and delivery best practices with peers and business partners as appropriate.

  • Establish and maintain work breakdown structures/schedules along with interrelated dependencies and resourcing of work.

  • Coordinate integration and user acceptance testing.

  • Identify, articulate, and mitigate project risks.

  • Prioritize work to meet commitments, deliverables, and business objectives.
