JR108088 SSD Test Failure Analysis Technician

## Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Test Support
\- Perform failure analysis for New Product Introduction (NPI) and High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) test failures and identify root cause/defect location in a timely manner
\- First contact point and first-level failure analysis for manufacturing test-related issues
\- Prioritize & expedite failure analysis for high priority/DDT lots to meet output goals for business demand
\- Escalate & work with engineers on issues that require engineer dispo/response, eg: mtSBL trigger, test high fallout etc
\- Communicate shift pass-down on test matters
\- Assist the engineering team to identify and reject test failure need for engineer checkout for further engineering eval/investigation
\- Support special engineering evaluation activity request approved by FA supervisor
FA WIP Management
\- Monitor and maintain FA WIP to meet the target set by FA supervisor for every shift
Test Equipment/Lab Management
\- Perform yearly Production Tester GR&R and Product GRR
\- Work with PE to set up a new FA debug bench for New Product Introduction (NPI)
\- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration for FA debug tools/bench
\- Maintain 6S & ESD compliances in FA lab
Manufacturing Test Issues & Yield Monitoring
\- Monitor test failures/issues and feedback on abnormal new trends of test issues/failures to the engineering team
\- Escalate to equipment engineers on tester software/hardware issues causing poor yield
Continuous Improvement Projects for Cost/Cycle Time/NPI
\- Support test yield continuous improvement projects for cost reduction.
\- Identify opportunities to improve FA process for cycle time improvement.
\- Assist NPI FA analysis from PE special engineering request.
\- Leverage AI-enabled tools and data analytics solutions to improve failure analysis efficiency, cycle time, and decision-making.
\- Propose and execute improvement projects for FA/Test to desired results.
\- Contribute ideas and continuous improvement projects that incorporate digital, automation, or AI technologies to improve FA/Test processes.
\- Collaborate with equipment engineers on projects to improve overall test equipment efficiency and effectiveness.
Digital & AI Utilization
\- Utilize approved AI and digital productivity tools to improve troubleshooting, data analysis, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
\- Maintain awareness of emerging AI technologies and participate in training initiatives to improve digital and AI proficiency.
\- Ensure responsible and compliant use of AI tools in accordance with company policies on confidentiality, security, and intellectual property protection.
## Requirements:
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/Computer engineering,
- Working experience in SSD test failure analysis would be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge or experience with AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
- Experience in statistical process control system.
- Experience working in Linux operating system.
- Ability to work on 12-hours rotating shift.
- Understand and able to communicate in English with good interpersonal skills in building positive working relationship.
