Associate Chemist, R&D (Fixed term contract)

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a “Associate Chemist” at MKS MSD you will partner with Chemical and physical Characterization to support in documentation and associated activities. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, CPC, R&D based in Manesar, Gurgaon. The role will be responsible for carrying out documentation in the field of different analytical activities related to product development, testing, qualification, and method development under technical guidance. You will be working closely with colleagues from your own team, associate manager, manager, and other cross-functional departments. Open and clear communication with the team is expected. You are expected to come up with your own ideas and approaches to execute the tasks and duties successfully. When required, you will also act as a support to stakeholders and maintain the confidentiality and compliance of the department and the company.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Creating / Updating all the Central Technical data sheets as per the requirements from Process Owners and as per legal requirements.
• Monthly verification of Central and local technical data sheets / Analytical methods for any discrepancies in version
• Quarterly Verification of bill of materials as per the current bath document.
• Control of the used products which are mentioned in technical data sheets
• Cross functional collaboration with other teams in a laboratory environment
• Self-motivated and proactive actions to maintain the work culture and task completion

Skills You Bring:

• MSc. in Chemistry
• Experience 0-1 year
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivation, out of the box thinking, self-accountability, and a strong sense of ownership

Preferred Skills: (Optional)

• Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 and 17025)
• Handling of technical documentation
