In this role, you are expected to:
The Cash and Trade Proc Sr Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for ensuring Payment Operations' processes, key initiatives and projects are delivered and aligned with the firms larger strategy. The overall objective is to apply in-depth knowledge, and contribute to the development of new techniques / processes for cash management operations. Ensure utilization of tools that are available to create opportunities to digitize, streamline and improve Operations
Provide support to the Payment Operations head in meeting and delivering key initiatives for the group.
Identify opportunities for continued improvement by leveraging digital solutions/AI/Power BI tools etc.
Contribute to special projects and provide feedback for all project related activities impacting the group.
Contribute to the development of new techniques and processes within cash management
Develop and recommend strategic decisions based off in-depth comprehension of how the Payment Operations team interacts with others business unites in accomplishing objectives
Influence decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating others in area
Evaluate moderately complex issues with substantial potential impact together with the Payment Operations Head
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Act as a main support to the Payment Operations head to drive culture change within Payment Operations, this will include strategic planning, solutions delivery, establishing strong back-up mechanisms.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
5-8 years of relevant experience in Payment Operations, Cash Operations, Funds Transfer Operations, or Banking Operations.
Experience with cross-border payments and SWIFT messaging.
Knowledge of foreign exchange (FX) operations and BSP regulatory requirements.
Strong Project management and stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, regulators, and cross-functional partners.
Demonstrate leadership capabilities.
Effective verbal and written skills.
Effective communication and analytical skills
