Service Technician

JOB PURPOSE:

As part of the Energy 1 team, the Mechanical Service Technician will help to service heating & cooling, and/or plumbing systems for high-end custom residential and commercial clients. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will report to the Service Manager and will serve as a critical member of the construction team. Specific job duties include:

• Provide installation, maintenance, and repair duties in construction, diagnosis, repair, and installation of client related equipment & facilities. 
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing of equipment assuring efficient operation. 
• Read plans, communicate with the construction team, and perform other related duties. 
• Apply standard/best practices of the various trades.
• Apply building codes, ordinances, and regulations of State and Local authorities pertaining to the service.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Supply basic hand tools applicable to the trades.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience as a service technician.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: talk and hear others both physically present and on the telephone; sit and stand; move, use hands to operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects over 50 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• The physical environment requires the employee to typically work in all conditions. This position will require travel to multiple E1 sites on a regular basis as the need arises.
• This position is located in Jackson, WY with responsibilities for additional locations. 
• This FLSA non-exempt position may be requested to work overtime and weekends on occasion.
