Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
As an intern in the Infineon Corporate Strategy department with focus on competitor analysis, you will work closely with a manager of the Corporate Strategy team. You will also have the chance to gain first-hand experience in strategy work. The tasks and responsibilities you receive will depend on your performance.
- Data is everything: Maintain and further develop an industry database covering financial results of key competitors and production partners
- Keep up to date: Conduct competitive intelligence activities, including competitor monitoring, benchmarking, and tracking M&A; activities
- Take responsibility: Support the Corporate Competitive Intelligence platform, serving as the single source of truth for competitor-related information
- Experience research: Perform research, market assessments, and analytical tasks in support of strategic projects
- Expand your horizons: Contribute to market and industry studies to identify trends, opportunities, and strategic implications
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills you need to succeed
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree with excellent results, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Work Experience: First practical experience through internships, ideally in Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy, or another finance-related environment
- Financial Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial accounting, including P&L;, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and financial ratios
- Skills: Advanced analytical skills and confidence in working with complex financial datasets using Excel and presenting findings in PowerPoint. Very good Microsoft Office skills
- Personality: Team player with entrepreneurial mindset, strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and a proactive way of working
- Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English
