Referral Laboratory Management Specialist I - Mexico

As a Referral Laboratory Management Specialist I at ICON, you will support the coordination and management of services provided by external referral laboratories.

What You Will Do:

Your role will involve delivering clinical laboratory operations work to a high standard, working closely with your team and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the coordination of services with external referral laboratories to ensure timely and accurate completion of lab activities.
  • Supporting the setup and management of lab processes, including sample handling, testing protocols, and data collection.
  • Ensuring that all laboratory activities adhere to regulatory standards and internal quality guidelines.
  • Monitoring lab service performance, identifying issues, and assisting in their resolution in collaboration with referral labs and internal teams.
  • Providing basic support and information to internal teams regarding lab processes and services.

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant clinical laboratory operations experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, laboratory science, or clinical research.
  • 1-3 years of experience in laboratory management or coordination, preferably within the clinical research or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge or experience with clinical trials is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks related to lab services.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to laboratory services in clinical trials.
