Job Description
As a Security Officer Manufacturing in Warren, Facility MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and operations. Your visible presence, professional communication, and customer service will help deter security-related incidents. - Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and public emergency responders when needed.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and oncoming personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
