Summary:
The Program Manager leads complex technology and business programs from planning through delivery, partnering across business, technology, product, and leadership teams to manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, governance, and business readiness. This role drives clear execution, stakeholder alignment, executive communication, and successful program outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, execution, and governance for complex technology and business programs, ensuring delivery commitments are met.
- Manage program scope, schedule, budget, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and delivery readiness.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, technology, product, data, reporting, change management, and operations.
- Facilitate governance routines, stakeholder alignment, decision-making, and escalation management.
- Prepare and communicate program status, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions needed for leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Support business readiness, change management, launch planning, and operational transition activities.
- Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years of program/project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in banking, financial services, or a highly regulated environment.
- Experience leading and coordinating large, complex, cross-functional information technology programs and projects.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies, including Waterfall, Iterative, Agile/Scrum, release management, QA, UAT, and project management processes and standards.
- Experience maintaining integrated program roadmaps, project schedules, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and delivery plans using portfolio/project management tools, MS Excel, or MS Project.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level status reporting and clearly communicate program risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions needed.
- Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and effectively prioritize competing deliverables.
- Ability to provide strong program and project leadership during periods of uncertainty, ambiguity, and change.
- High level of professionalism and confidence, with the ability to build credibility and effective working relationships with leadership, team members, vendors, and business partners.
- Experience supporting business readiness, change management, training, communications, launch readiness, and operational transition activities.
- Experience utilizing AI prompts or AI-enabled tools to organize, develop, summarize, or communicate program management deliverables.
