Job Summary
Provide control service diagnostics, repairs & preventative maintenance tasks in safe and efficient manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Primary duties:
- Diagnose and repair DDC systems & components including terminal, unitary and plant controllers including, but not limited to:
- Verification of proper bus operation
- Conducting point to point check
- Calibrate sensors
- Downloading controllers
- Verify equipment sequence
- Diagnose and repair integration issues to allow for a fully functioning system
- Understand and modify building and control level programming
- Preform control maintenance tasks
- Maintain excellent communication between the automation department and its customers
Administrative duties:
- Arrive at the assigned location at the assigned time
- Complete all necessary paperwork for processing in a timely manner
- Service & maintenance forms
- Safety material
- Maintain technical knowledge & participate in training when necessary
- Maintain all company supplied tools and resources
- Accurately record time
- Be available after normal working hours when needed
- Participate in rotating after hours service calls
- Maintain assigned company vehicle
Physical Demands
- Adhere to safety standards
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of building automation systems (Tridium, Honeywell, Johnson FX, Trane and Carrier preferred)
- Understanding of HVAC standards and practices consistent with industry requirements
- Good working knowledge of the design, operation & maintenance of a wide range of commercial HVAC equipment & controls
- 5 years industry experience preferred
- Clean driving record
