Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential direct and indirect nursing care under the proficient direction of a Registered Nurse, aligning with established policies and procedures to optimize your skills and contribute to our patient-centered mission.

- Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs.
- Promptly answers call lights and responds to patient needs.
- Reports patient status changes and needs to Registered Nurse accurately and in a timely manner.
- Accurately documents vital signs, input/output, nutritional intake, personal hygiene, weights, and other patient care performed and reports findings promptly to Registered Nurse.
- Maintains thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records.
- Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by the nurse.
- Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members.
- Communicates concerns regarding hazards or errors related to patients to the health care team.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program
- State registered CNA license
Preferred
- Six (6) months previous CNA or healthcare experience.
