What Will You Do?
Assist in preparing market analysis and remain current on rental rates and consumer trends.
Conduct property tours for prospective tenants and follow up to secure leases.
Assist in screening prospective tenants, conducting background checks, and reviewing rental applications.
Prepare lease agreements and ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Handle negotiations related to lease terms, rent pricing, and special conditions.
Manage lease renewals, ensuring timely communication with existing tenants. Collecting data to help develop and provide recommendations to promote the rental properties.
Support the execution of marketing and leasing strategies for residential properties by coordinating digital and print advertisement, updating signage and promotional materials, making updates to websites or splash pages, and suggesting e-blasts ideas.
Utilize Yardi CRM, or any Company Software required, to track and manage all inquiries, communications, and interactions with prospective tenants to ensure timely follow-up and data accuracy.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lease agreements, tenant information, and financial transactions using Yardi CRM and other property management systems.
Compile daily, weekly, or monthly activity reports, lease summary reports, market reports and expiring lease analysis as required, in conjunction with the VP of Residential PM
Sets and achieves sales performance goals.
Assists with company sponsored resident events.
Review and provide comments on how to improve existing websites and procedures within the department.
Collaborate with the Property Management team to improve existing rental platforms and traffic.
Administrative and other duties as required by the Vice President or Director of Residential Property Management
What You Will Bring:
3 year’s of sales experience, leasing experience an asset
Strong knowledge of the local real estate market
Must possess a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel.
Thorough understanding of all aspects of formal lease documents
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, integrity, personal appearance and exercise confidentiality in all areas of performance construction knowledge considered an asset
