Public Relations Executive

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Public Relations Executive to support the planning and execution of public relations and corporate communication activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing media relations, developing communication materials, and enhancing brand reputation through effective PR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing public relations and communication campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, business partners, and external stakeholders.
• Prepare press releases, media materials, speeches, newsletters, and other communication content.
• Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, corporate events, and promotional activities.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR campaign performance.
• Support corporate branding and reputation management initiatives.
• Manage social media and digital communication content where required.
• Work closely with internal departments and external agencies to ensure effective communication.
• Conduct market and media research to identify industry trends and opportunities.
• Perform other public relations and communication-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, media relations, or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in content writing, media coordination, and event management is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Remuneration

MYR 3,500 – MYR 6,000
