Wire Drawer

In this role you will be a Wire Drawer for a cleint in the electronics/cable manufacutring industry. In this role you will be working from an operations sheet to set up and operate various wire drawings and accessory equipment with the expecation of straigh draw bench #2239 and large bull block #2240. 

This is a direct hire role that must be performed on-site. The hours are 6:30 am to 3:00 + OT when needed.

The pay is $21.00 to $25.00 based on experience. 

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years working in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to pass a basic math test
• Ability to set up equipment using specified drawings, speeds, dies, lubricants, operating any equipment for required number of passes and reduce material to desire diameters
• Understanding of tight tolerances
• Ability to perform dimensional checks using micrometers
• Ability to perform cleaning, degreasing, polishing, coiling, swaging,a nd straigtening operations
• Must be able to label parts and keep in lot numbers
• Abiliyt to use ruler, tapes, and micrometers
• Must understand diameters
• Abiliy to interpret technical drawings
