General Counsel

Location: Remote
Scope of Work
Create, review, and refine contract negotiation playbooks based on diverse real-world scenarios and company requirements.
Draft, analyze, and annotate a range of commercial agreements, ensuring clarity, precision, and compliance with relevant standards.
Provide expert commentary on best practices for contract management and negotiation strategies.
Curate and supply non-confidential, eligible transaction materials in support of the project's documentation objectives.
Evaluate and optimize existing contract templates, identifying areas to improve efficiency and risk mitigation.
Collaborate with micro1's team to ensure materials meet project guidelines and AI-training needs.
Deliver high-quality written and verbal feedback to enhance system understanding and output.
Preferred Qualifications
Current or prior experience as a General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, or Assistant General Counsel with a strong focus on contract negotiation playbooks.
Demonstrated expertise in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and management within corporate environments.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with attention to detail and clarity.
Knowledge of industry-standard practices for contract review and risk assessment.
Experience developing or utilizing contract negotiation playbooks specifically designed for companies.
Familiarity with document-driven project assignments, including sourcing and submitting eligible materials.
Ability to work independently and deliver concise, actionable insights for AI training purposes.
