Partner with leaders across multiple sites to execute the People Strategy while driving business performance through people, culture and organisational effectiveness. The role combines operational HR excellence with the execution of change initiatives, culture transformation, leadership capability and learning interventions. Working closely with business leaders, Centres of Excellence and Shared Services, championing employee experience, and supporting organisational change, embeds high-performance culture and delivers strategic people projects that enable business growth.

Important Note - this is a Fixed Term contract role


WHAT YOU WILL DO


Execution of People Strategy


  • Partner with business leaders to implement strategic people initiatives aligned to business objectives.
  • Coach line managers on people leadership, performance and employee engagement.
  • Lead and coordinate change management initiatives supporting organisational transformation.
  • Partner with leaders to identify culture improvement opportunities and implement action plans.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to identify capability gaps and support execution of site learning plans
  • Lead and coordinate People projects across multiple sites.
  • Responsible for the execution of programmes and activities initiated by the People Business Partners, e.g. talent acquisition campaigns, bargaining agreements, learning and development programmes
  • Keep the People Manager informed about the status and success of programmes Provide operational support for ER/IR issues including grievances, disciplinary hearings and terminations

Administrative Local Support


  • Deliver end-to-end HR operational support across multiple sites.
  • Process all People Shared Services activities related to a site or group of sites as per the defined standard procedure
  • Manage the administration of People operational activities in multiple People disciplines (recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, L&D and Employee Lifecycle.)
  • Manage the on-boarding of new hires - document collection, checklists etc.
  • Schedule and manages administrative activities related to L&D courses at site, e.g. enrolment of employees to courses
  • Run customized People reports, dashboards and metrics to suit business requirements
  • Provide regular communication and training to all stakeholders on process and system changes as well as on other relevant matters pertaining to PSSC
  • Advise and socialise business/employees on all PSSC processes relating to site
  • Monitor and address business adoption issues with People Manager
  • Implement and track activities proposed by People Manager (issue resolution)
  • Maintain data integrity and org structures in line with standards / budgeted headcount

Experience


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Management or related field.
  • Coaching qualification/certification advantageous
  • Change Management certification (Prosci, ACMP or similar) advantageous.
  • Project Management certification advantageous.
  • 5+ years HR Business Partnering experience within a complex operational environment.
  • Experience supporting multiple business sites.
  • Proven experience leading organisational change initiatives.
  • Experience driving culture and employee engagement interventions.
  • Experience partnering with Learning & Development on capability initiatives.
  • Experience managing HR projects from planning through implementation.
  • Strong Employee Relations and operational HR experience.
  • Experience using HR analytics to support business decisions.
  • Experience with HR IS (Workday preferred)
