Order and receive all kitchen products

Train and develop kitchen staff

Create and develop menu items

Ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality of all food operations

Communicate processes, recipes, and standards to kitchen staff

Oversees special catering events and is the "face" of the kitchen.

Take full charge of kitchen operations, supervising kitchen staff and performance

Manage inventory for banquets, restaurant, and Market

Control operational costs and identify waste

Communicate back-of-house needs to the Director

Work with the F&B Supervisor to maintain clear communication and quality

Can work a mix of hours and is present during high-volume events for the restaurant and banquets

Problem-solving in the moment, staff or guest-related issues

This position is an overtime eligible manager (OEM), overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Typically requires an Bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience in a high volume, full service restaurant.
  • Independently resolves complex workplace challenges, escalating only the most difficult issues, while maintaining composure and objectivity under pressure.
  • Demonstrates deep subject matter expertise and effectively leads, coaches, and mentors others.
  • Communicates clearly, evaluates options promptly, and actively listens to address concerns from colleagues and guests.
